A fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon at house number 484 in the BD Block of Salt Lake, triggering panic among local residents. The incident occurred at around 3:30 PM, following which two fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the spot. According to local sources, three elderly individuals were living in the house at the time of the fire.
The elderly residents were trapped inside the house but were safely rescued through a joint effort by the fire brigade and municipal workers. No injuries have been reported so far. Preliminary findings suggest that the fire may have been caused by incense sticks lit during worship. Authorities are continuing their assessment to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
